Support for exports has always been one of the concerns of the Government of
Mali. At the heart of the institutional framework for this support is the Agency for the Promotion
des Exports du Mali (APEX-Mali) which was created, thanks to the restructuring of
the National Directorate of Trade and Competition, by Law No. 2011-32 of 24
June 2011 in the form of a Public Establishment of an Administrative nature and placed under
the supervision of the Minister in charge of Foreign Trade.
