The Cooperative Society for Solidarity, Mutual Aid, Economic Development of Women and Children called YDADE – COOP – CA . Having already capitalized on 12 years of presence with women and their organizations in rural Mali, where we had the great honor of visiting almost all the agricultural landscapes of almost all the agricultural regions of Mali, We felt it was our duty to organize our fellow citizens, agricultural producers like us, into a cooperative since 2010 according to an alternative model of sustainable development.

YDADE GNONGONDEME was created in 2003 and approved in 2006 with the social service of Kati, then approved in 2014 as a supra National association by the Governorate of the district of Bamako in May The OHADA uniform act made us review the objectives and the mission of our organization to decide at a general meeting on its transformation into a multifunctional Cooperative Society, hence the name Cooperative Society COOP – CA in accordance with the OHADA uniform act.

It covers all the agricultural zones of Mali except the Kidal region and includes within it:

• 156 organizations, associations of women agricultural producers
• 8 production brigades oriented towards the production and collection of cash crops.
• 620 members in Mali of which more than 95% are women
• 400 members in the circle of Banamba for the sole production of organic sesame YDADE GNONGONDEME operates in almost all circles of the country with an extraordinary land availability exceeding 96 thousand hectares of which we only manage to exploit only barely 500 hectares due to lack of funding.
