MALI-SHI
- The Mali Shi project was born from the desire of the OMNIUM group to diversify;
- MALI SHI SA is an industrial unit for the production of shea butter based in Bamako (Mali);
- The company is involved in collecting, processing and exporting activities. Its activities include, among others:
- The organization of the supply of shea kernels through production organizations mainly composed of women in Mali;
- the purchase, aggregation, classification and processing of shea kernels into shea butter and by-products (briquettes);
- the sale of shea butter to international customers.
- The total investment is 3.24 billion CFA Francs.
The shea butter produced by Mali Shi is obtained by press extraction followed by solvent extraction (hexane);
Mali Shi's activities created 128 direct employees , including 90 at the factory.

15,000 tonnes of briquettes / year.
