GEMCI SARL (Générale Malienne de Commerce et d 'Investissement) is a company created in 2006 which works in the export and research of investments in the agricultural field concerning products such as sesame, cashew nut and others. GEMCI is a member of the group of cashew processors from Mali, GEMCI SARL has a cashew and sesame production unit. GEMCI SARL aims to organize, develop and promote the sesame sector in Mali It aims to:

• Define and promote contractual approaches between farmers, contribute to market management, by better adapting products to quantitative and qualitative plans and promoting them
• Know the supply and demand by collecting, processing and disseminating information on sesame,
• Strengthening food safety, in particular, through food safety, product traceability, in the interest of users
• Promote and improve variety selection and the regulation of improved seeds with the support of national and international seed research and production organizations
• Participate in technical trade and other negotiations in the bilateral, regional and multilateral framework.
